Make your own dry onion soup and gravy mixes.
Monday comes around pretty fast, doesn't it? Today I needed to make more DIY mixes to restock my store, so I thought I'd share them with you guys. I use onion soup mix and beef or chicken gravy mixes a lot in recipes, so I learned to make them myself instead of buying them. I don't put salt in any of my mixes, but you can add it if you want to. In the past few months, my store has been out of or low on gravy mixes, so I like to keep them in my kitchen so I can make them myself.
Papa Rackley died in February of 13 years ago. Of all the wonderful memories I have of him, the one that stands out is that he always liked gravy on the table for breakfast or dinner (lunch). Almost every morning, Nannie Polly would make cream gravy or red eye gravy for breakfast, and he would dip biscuits in it like it was going out of style. She would make him brown sauce, which was made from beef, to go with hamburger steak, meatloaf, and other dinners. He usually ate leftovers from both lunch and dinner for supper, so if one of us came to visit, we would finish off the gravy. Even though I don't make gravy for every meal like she did, it's nice to know that my DIY mixes will have it ready to go whenever I need it.

I can't stand the thought of Sour cream, cottage cheese or Mayo in anything I eat. Seems to be only in US use Mayo. I am thinking of just replacing recipe with Greek Yogurt for all three. Do you think would work?Jeann
yes will work , I know many people use it instead of Mayo
