Grilled Cheese Recipe

Grilled cheese is a hot sandwich that is made with one or a combination of cheeses on bread then toasted. A classic American sandwich recipe that everyone loves!

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of thick french bread
  • 4 oz cheese, american or mild cheddar
  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter, room temp
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

    • In a bowl, combine together the butter, garlic powder and italian seasoning.
  • Spread butter on the inside of the bread slices. Add half of the cheese onto one slice and close with another slice of bread. Repeat with the second grilled cheese.
  • Spread butter on the top and bottom slice of bread.
  • Add the grilled cheese into a skillet and cook over medium/low heat. Cover with a lid and cook until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
  • Serve!
